A brief history of ACA

It began with a vision.
Wendee Hill and Marie Pruden wanted to grow healthy, organic foods and they wanted to spread the practice at lakeside with which they were enthralled—for its physical environment, the lake and, most of all, the culture.

For years, they’ve experimented, explored, questioned and researched to perfect their methods. It all works. The right people have been recruited and well trained, volunteers are appearing in unexpected varieties and revenue is improving.

ACA is uniquely poised - at a most propitious moment, prepared to surge forward. Now is the time to inspire widespread usage and expand the market by proving it is also profitable—very profitable.

To that end, ACA has is paying attention to commercial considerations and practices. By demonstrating that healthy, environmentally friendly farming is worth pursuing
