Mexico City, 1942

How many times have you wondered what it would have been like to visit Mexico City back in the day? 

We don't have footage of the pre-Columbian chinampas that once characterized this metropolis, but a 1942 MGM travel film tours us through the city's characteristic landmarks-- Reforma, el Monumento de la Revolucion,  Angel de la Independencia-- and makes us long for a simpler, more romantic era in one of the world's great cities.
