Los Cabos CVB Launches New Advertising & Marketing Campaign

Los Cabos, Mexico - (May 24, 2011) - The Los Cabos Convention & Visitors Bureau recently announced the launch of the new advertising and marketing campaign for the destination in 2011, led by the actionable tagline "TIME2CABO." Offering an array of unforgettable, once-in-a-lifetime experiences at an unmatched value, there is no better time than the present to travel to the tip of the Baja Peninsula.

 

In creating this new campaign, the Los Cabos CVB in conjunction with Los Angeles-based marketing firm Reynolds & Associates, aimed to make Los Cabos or "Cabo" an actionable word that propels movement and stimulates imagination. Each traveler experiences Los Cabos in their own way and the new TIME2CABO campaign offers a variety of "Cabo's" to appeal to almost any personality - from TIME2GOLF and TIME2FISH to TIME2SPA and TIME2WED, there are a number of experiences awaiting travelers in the destination.

 

"Los Cabos continues to uphold a great reputation and brand recognition as one of Mexico's premiere beach destination; the goal of the new TIME2CABO campaign is to embrace this reputation and inform travelers that the time to travel is now and the place to go is Cabo, " says Carlos Aquino, Vice President of Marketing, Los Cabos Convention & Visitors Bureau.  "Los Cabos is a diverse product that offers a variety of vacation options - from relaxing and luxurious to rugged and adventurous. We want TIME2CABO and its many facets to become an actionable tagline for travelers."

 

To bring this campaign to life, the new print and digital advertising campaign features the words TIME2CABO in bold letters to both command attention and encourage action from travelers. Each image was carefully selected to fully represent the many faces of "Cabo" and reinforce the rare beauty, exclusivity and tranquility that are unique to this area of Mexico. This multi-platform campaign includes also includes advertorial, promotional, social media and public relations support that aim to further reinforce the overarching message and express the many ways it is TIME2CABO.
